PS5 CONNECTION GUIDE
How to set up
Cronus Zen on PS5.
Configure USB communication and complete the controller connection sequence using an official PS5 controller and a data-capable USB-C cable.
STEP-BY-STEP
PS5 setup procedure.

Set the PS5 communication method
Open Settings → Accessories → Controller (General), then set Communication Method to Use USB Cable.

Disconnect other USB cables
Remove any other USB cables currently connected to the PS5 before beginning the connection sequence.

Clear the Cronus Zen OLED
Confirm that no active script or GamePack is showing on the Cronus Zen OLED screen.

Restart the PS5
Restart the console with the previous checks completed.

Connect the DualSense Edge wirelessly
Activate the DualSense Edge controller through Bluetooth, then keep the controller available for the next steps.

Open Turn Off Accessories
On the PS5, navigate to the Turn Off Accessories screen and remain on that screen.

Connect the official PS5 controller
Use a data-capable USB-C cable to connect an official PS5 controller to the left-side port of the Cronus Zen.

Complete the startup sequence
Press and hold Right on the D-pad. While holding it, fully connect the cable to Cronus Zen—or reconnect the upper console cable. Continue holding while the PS5 screen flashes or processes notifications. Release the D-pad only when the activity stops and the connection is stable.
Repeat after every console restart.
This connection sequence must be repeated each time the PS5 is restarted or powered on. If the connection does not stabilize, confirm that the cable supports data, remove other USB devices, clear the Cronus Zen OLED and begin again from the first step.
